Energy Sector Development Forum 23,24 Sep 2023, Benghazi

The Private Sector Engagement in the Energy industry

The oil and gas sector is the most vital industry in Libya, serving as the backbone of the national economy. Therefore, developing this sector is one of the most significant challenges facing its management, requiring the integration of efforts from both the public and private sectors to achieve the best results.

In this context, the second edition of the Energy Sector Development Forum in Libya is being held with a focus on supporting active participation of the private sector in the oil and gas industry. This will be achieved through a diverse range of discussions aimed at improving the sector’s structure and efficiency, as well as strengthening the role of the private sector in developing the oil and gas industry in the country.
